Today marks one of the wheel days in the Buddhist calendar, celebrating the birth of the Shakyamuni Buddha. We will celebrate the occasion in Kagyu Samye Dzong Dublin by lighting butterlamps and a specially dedicated Chenrezi practice. This day is also the official birthday of Akong Tulku Rinpoche and Lama Yeshe Losal so we will celebrate with some birthday cake – all are welcome to join us on this wonderful day.
