Lhabab Duchen is one of the four ‘Wheel Days’ in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar and marks the occasion of the return to Earth of the Buddha Shakyamuni from the god realms after he had taught the celestial beings and liberated his mother from Samsara as a mark of gratitude.
This is an extremely auspicious day and all activities – both positive and negative – are multiplied 10 million times! So it is the perfect time to perform positive actions!
We will celebrate the day with a light offering and Tsok (offering) practice beginning at 7pm. All are welcome to join in this special event – and even if you can’t join us, remember to think good thoughts and do good deeds!
