We are delighted to announce that our Abbot, Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche will be visiting us again this year. We will once again have the opportunity to benefit from his wisdom, kindness and infectious laughter!
Lama Yeshe Rinpoche will also be accompanied by his assistant, Gelongma Lhamo, an excellent teacher in her own right.

Saturday 17th October:
10am – 11am Talk by Ani Lhamo “Working Creatively with Suffering” Part 1 – drawing on the four foundations that turn the mind to Dharma, appreciating the preciousness of human birth, appreciating how everything changes from moment to moment, being mindful of how we speak, think and act, and facing the reality of suffering. All Welcome
11.30am – 12.30am Talk by Lama Yeshe Rinpoche “Timeless Wisdom for Modern Times” – Lama Rinpoche has a particular take on life and meditation, approaching both with joy and wisdom that has been achieved through his many years of silent retreat. This is an opportunity to learn from a meditation master and to experience the happiness that radiates from him. All Welcome
2pm – 3pm Talk by Ani Lhamo “Working Creatively with Suffering” Part 2 – see above. All Welcome
3.30pm – 4.30pm Guided Meditation session with Lama Yeshe Rinpoche. A unique chance to meditate with a meditation master, with a question and answer session – not to be missed! All Welcome
Sunday 18th October:
10am – 11am Talk by Ani Lhamo “Taking Refuge” – a talk on the meaning of ‘taking Refuge’, for those who are taking Refuge or those who would like to know more of what it means to engage in the Buddhist path.
11am – 12pm Refuge Ceremony. Lama Rinpoche will give Refuge for those who wish to formally become a Buddhist. It is also an opportunity to renew vows or take further vows, such as the Bodhisattva vow.
3.30pm ‘Shower of Blessings’ Tsok (Offering) Puja – a rare chance to practice in the presence of a Rinpoche. All welcome to participate. Offerings of food, light, incense etc welcome.

Teachings are by donation – donations help keep the Centre running, allow us to invite teachers such as Rinpoche and Ani Lhamo, and give as many people as possible access to the teachings of the Buddha.
We hope that as many of you as possible will take this rare and blessed opportunity to be with an enlightened being such as Lama Yeshe Rinpoche.
