thubten_gelong_buddhist_monk_220A general talk on the practice of Chenrezig – the Buddha of Compassion – both as the short practice done at the Centre, as well as the Nyung Ney practice, which is a more elaborate form involving fasting and purification.

There will be an explanation of the meaning of such practices as well as the importance of lineage and transmission.

Gelong Thubten is a life-ordained Buddhist monk in the Kagyu tradition.

Open to all.

The Centre is run solely by a group of dedicated volunteers. All donations received go towards the running costs of the Centre and bringing teachers such as Thubten to Dublin. Please do not let finances be an obstacle to attendance.
